It’s Time!!! The Friends Connection 2020 is in the works.
Here’s what we can tell you right now. We will be in Philadelphia again this year, but we’ve moved to the historic Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia. You’ll get to walk where our Founding Fathers walked more than 2 centuries ago. But let’s get down to the details we can share right now:
Date: April 17, 2020
Place: Marriott Old City Philadelphia (Formerly the Society Hill Sheraton)
We plan to schedule events for the full day, Friday starting with a breakfast, a deli-style lunch and ending with a cocktail reception at the hotel and then dinner at a local restaurant.
Old City offers loads of interesting things to see and do so we hope you’ll plan to stay the night and spend some time on Saturday getting to know the neighborhood. Maybe you’ll bring friends or make new friends and have a fascinating day.
Mark the date on your calendar and check back periodically to get additional details as they become available!
SEE YOU IN PHILLY ON APRIL 17, 2020!
We are excited to announce that we have created a podcast called Changing The Rules. Our focus is change and transition in our lives and how to manage it for your best outcome. Many times we face change whether it is our own choice or the decision of someone else. This can be difficult and uncomfortable for many, even if they are instigating it themselves.
We believe that if you feel you are in control of your change it can be less uncomfortable, because you are instrumental in designing the outcome.
Our podcasts will have guests who have been through change and had a successful outcome. They are happy to share their story with listeners. Our goal is to provide as much information and creative thinking as possible for the benefit of our listeners.

After I merged my financial advising practice with another firm, I enthusiastically threw myself into my new venture, The Luckiest Guy in the World. What I didn’t realize was that my long-time clients had become friends to me and without the structure of the practice, I was losing touch.
Since my nature is to be a problem solver, I brainstormed to find a way to keep in touch with my friends. The Friends Connection.
What is that? I planned a gathering designed to be a time of rekindling old friendships, making new ones, and a little learning thrown in for good measure. We had our inaugural Friends Connection event in June 2019 and all reports are that it was a great success. So we are doing it again!
Right now we are finishing up the planning and hope to have something more specific to share with you very soon. We hope to make it bigger and better, so you won’t want to miss it!

Travel with Ray and his Friends!
Ray Loewe, The Luckiest Guy in the World has redesigned his life to be able to spend time with interesting people, doing interesting things. One of the ways he plans to do this is through travel.
Ray has put together a trip for October 2020 that is a continuation of the client trips we used to do. We have dubbed these trips, The Travel Connection because I hope to connect with people I enjoy and new people I hope to connect with.
Our trip will be a cruise beginning in Athens, Greece, a short hop to an island of Turkey, and then back to the Greek Isles. We will cruise up the eastern seaboard of the Aegean Sea with ports of call in Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and more. We end our trip in Venice.
Our ship is part of the Silver Seas line and carries about 300 passengers. I like the smaller ships because I feel I have a better chance to meet people.
I would love to have you join me on this adventure and to add a special inducement, there is a special offer good until the end of this month. If you register for the trip, you will qualify for free airfare!
For more information, or to register, contact Derek Schemonitz of Avenue 2 Travel. His phone number is 412-441-3131, and his email address is email@example.com
I believe this is going to be a wonderful trip and I look forward to seeing you on board!
